Barry Yanku, RA

Barry founded his practice in 2004. He has experience in the design of Schools, Office Buildings , Residences, Museums and projects with unique cultural and historic influences. As a Architect he has taken very unique projects from conceptual design through construction documentation and construction. Currently the firm is exploring and implementing building techniquies promoting "green" and "sustainable" strategies/technologies for their new projects.

He presently is an Adjunct Professor at NJIT School of Architecture.


 
 
Juan Rodriguez

Juan has been with the firm since 2004 and has participated in the designs of all the projects.

Susan (Bernstein) Opperman,

Susan (Bernstein) Opperman has over twenty years experience in the contract design and furnishings market. She graduated from the New York School of Interior Design and was awarded the Gold Medal for Outstanding Achievement in Design. At Queens College she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree graduating Summa Cum Laude with additional departmental honors in art.

 

As a design professional, Susan specialized in the contract market working on major accounts including Merrill Lynch, White Weld and Co., Lehman Brothers, and First Boston. She also received an Honorary Mention, and was published for her competitive design entry A Playground for All Children.

 

Working for both Haworth Inc, and Herman Miller, Susan gained manufacturing experience in the contract furnishings market. Her focus was the design community, working closely with architects and designers during the planning and design process.

  Was field representative for Gwathmey Siegel Associate Architects at B. Altman's Reuse Project for CUNY.  Additionally, Tom has worked as lead designer and project manger for more then 35 years.
