Each cycle represents a period in which my architectural thinking developed through a particular professional environment, set of influences, and body of work. The projects within each cycle are not isolated commissions — they are evidence of a continuing investigation into how architecture becomes a human experience.

Immersion in the formal discipline of geometry, landscape, and modern residential architecture under Charles Gwathmey. The lessons of this period — proportion, composition, and the relationship of building to site — shaped the work that followed.
